We have launched our podcast. | Pérez del Castillo & Asociados - Attorneys, Notaries and Accountants

We have launched our podcast.

We’ve added our own audio channel—available on our website and Spotify—so you can listen to the latest updates anytime.

Since 2012, we have published ongoing analysis on pdelc.com.uy covering legislative and regulatory developments, case law, and current affairs in the areas of labor and employment law, trade union matters, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, regulatory law, notarial law, and accounting. This commitment has made our website one of the most widely consulted legal resources in Uruguay for those seeking to understand, in real time, how the legal landscape is evolving and what those changes mean for their businesses, their teams, and their decision-making. This initiative reflects one of the firm's core principles: bringing emerging legal issues into the discussion before they become problems, and providing preventive rather than reactive legal advice.

Today, we are taking another step in that same direction. Beginning this week, every new article published on pdelc.com.uy will be accompanied by a podcast: a short audio episode explaining the news, placing it in practical context, and highlighting the key points our clients should keep in mind. The content will be available both on our website, alongside the written article, and on the firm's dedicated Spotify channel, designed for those who prefer listening to reading or simply want a concise update while driving, walking, or multitasking.

The podcast is not intended to replace our written analysis, but to complement it. Every article will continue to be published with the same level of legal rigor that has defined our firm for more than a decade, while the accompanying audio will add another layer of accessibility, allowing information to reach more people in the format they prefer. The podcast will cover the same broad range of topics featured on our website: labor and employment law, trade union matters, corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and dispute resolution, regulatory issues, notarial law, and accounting and tax matters relevant to companies operating in Uruguay.

The decision to launch an audio channel is also part of the firm's broader commitment to integrating technology into legal practice. We have been incorporating artificial intelligence tools into various internal processes, from firm management and legal research to content creation.

This communication initiative complements—rather than replaces—the material we send directly to our clients through our newsletter. The newsletter is more specialized, covering a broader range of developments in greater depth and with a focus tailored to each industry and each client's business. Much of that content is not published on our website or converted into podcast episodes, remaining exclusively available to the firm's clients. The website, by contrast, serves a broader educational and informational purpose, providing a permanent resource rather than simply reporting the latest developments.

At Pérez del Castillo & Asociados, being a leading law firm means more than providing legal advice on individual matters. We believe in helping shape the legal and business conversation, identifying the issues that will define the public and corporate agenda, and equipping our clients with the information they need to make informed decisions before challenges arise. The podcast is another tool that supports this mission: to communicate, inform, anticipate, and ultimately strengthen the collaborative relationships we build with our clients beyond the scope of traditional legal services.

We invite our clients, as well as the broader legal and business communities, to follow the firm's latest publications on pdelc.com.uy and subscribe to the Pérez del Castillo & Asociados Spotify channel, where the first episode is already available.
