Labor Guide 2024

Practical analysis of the regulations approved during the year and the outlook in view of the change of government.

We have divided the guide into three parts. In the first part, we present an overview of labor regulations approved between November 2023 and November 2024, as well as those that entered into force during this period.

In the second part, we focus on approved social security regulations. We also review the structure of the pension system in light of the rejection of the constitutional reform plebiscite. In the third and final part, we provide information on legislative bills currently under consideration in Parliament that could be addressed before the end of the legislative session.

We also comment on the labor and social security proposals included in the program of the next government, which could result in legislative changes in the next legislative session.
