After the success of the first edition (November 2014), the second edition of the book "Handbook of Standards for Safety and Health at Work" ("Manual de Normas de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo") by Matías Pérez del Castillo and Juan Diego Inthamoussu (Fundación de Cultura Universitaria, 2015) was published .This manual:
- Includes a new chapter on alcohol, drugs and addictions.
- Includes the latest approved standards and regulations (night shifts, transfer to the workplace, etc.).
- Collects the most recent doctrinal contributions and jurisprudential guidelines on the subject.
- Includes revision and further information on topics covered in the previous edition: management of occupational risks prevention, obligations and rights of employers to ensure safety and health at work as well as non-compliance liability -whether civil, labor, administrative or criminal-, the administration and labor inspection system , the industrial accidents and occupational diseases scheme, labor rights and guarantees for workers as well as participation of workers and other subjects.
The work stays true to the style of its first edition, trying to facilitate access and understanding of the more than one hundred multidisciplinary standards governing safety and health at work, in order to remain a useful tool for legal practitioners, labor relations technicians and Human Resources managers.
